Refund policy

At The Simplified Self, we sell digital products including downloadable templates, guides, printables, journals, and other digital resources.

Because our products are delivered electronically and cannot be physically returned, our refund policy differs from that of stores selling physical goods.

Please read this policy carefully before purchasing.


Digital Products

All products sold through this website are digital products delivered electronically. Once a purchase is completed, the product becomes available for download or access immediately.


14-Day Refund Window

We offer a 14-day refund window on every paid product on this site. If a product is not right for you, email us within 14 days of purchase for a full refund. No detailed explanation is required.

This 14-day refund is offered as a goodwill policy, in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law. It is not a requirement under law and is provided because we want you to feel confident purchasing.

After 14 days, refunds are not offered.


How to Request a Refund

Email hello@thesimplifiedself.com with your request. Include the email address you used at checkout. Your email must be received within 14 days of your purchase date.

We aim to respond within two business days. Refunds are processed back to your original payment method. Processing times are typically five to ten business days depending on your bank or payment provider.

Example. Product purchased on 1 June 2026. 15 June 2026 is the last day a refund request will be accepted.


Your Consumer Rights

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law or other applicable consumer protection laws.

Regardless of the 14-day window, you may be entitled to a refund, replacement, or other remedy if a digital product:

  • has a major fault
  • is not as described
  • is not of acceptable quality
  • is not reasonably fit for its intended purpose

If you believe any of the above applies to your purchase, please contact us. We will review the issue and work through it with you.


Technical Issues

If you experience difficulty accessing or downloading your digital product, please contact us before assuming the product is faulty. We will make reasonable efforts to resolve the issue, including:

  • re-sending the download link
  • replacing corrupted files
  • assisting with access issues

If an issue cannot be resolved, we will assess an appropriate remedy in line with your consumer rights.


Licence and Use

All digital products are for personal use only. They may not be shared, resold, redistributed, or reproduced without written permission from The Simplified Self.
